The Coronavirus and COVID-19 have taught the healthcare profession many lessons over the past year and a half. One of those lessons was the vulnerability of supply chains. In the midst of battle, King Richard exclaimed “My kingdom for a horse!” The 2020 equivalent was “My kingdom for PPE!”
Natural disasters, geopolitical upheavals, and isolated catastrophes serve as causes for removed from their effects upon our healthcare systems.
